EINDHOVEN, The Netherlands, 5 June 2024 – MicroAlign, a spin-off from the Eindhoven University of Technology, announced today that it has closed €1 million in seed-funding to accelerate the commercialization of high-accuracy fiber arrays. The funding round was led by the Dutch venture capital firms DeepTechXL and PhotonVentures, reflecting investors’ strong belief in the company’s vision to develop a unique and crucial product for the photonics industry.
SuperLight Photonics, a spin-off from the University of Twente, is developing a wideband laser that can serve as a 'light source' in various measurement and detection applications. Today, the company announces the completion of a seed investment round. The round is led by Dutch Deep Tech investor DeepTechXL in collaboration with Oost NL. With this investment, SuperLight Photonics will further develop its platform technology into unique products and (sub)systems.
A new venture building program for startups in the healthcare and MedTech sector, that is HealthTechXL. The partners involved are Philips, HighTechXL, the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM), DeepTechXL and Invest-NL. The new program aims to give an extra boost to the creation, building and development of startups in advanced medical technology in the Brainport Eindhoven region.
